The UK’s position was outlined in tweet from Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Thursday morning. Mr. Johnson said with a month to go until the Commonwealth comes together in Rwanda, he was delighted to confirm the UK will support Mrs Johnson Smith’s campaign to be the next Secretary-General. Mr. Johnson said Mrs Johnson Smith has the vast experience and support to unite the Commonwealth nations and seize the opportunities ahead.
