A train derailed late Thursday in Sacramento injuring 22 people, including two with moderate injuries.
The Sacramento Fire Department reported just after 10 p.m. Thursday that the agency had multiple units on the scene at Roseville Road and Marconi Avenue.
Capt. Keith Wade of Sacramento Fire Department said 22 patients were injured, and of that, 20 were what firefighters term “walking wounded.”
More than 40 firefighters responded and 15 ambulances were on scene transporting the injured.
