Guizhou Province, China’s first comprehensive big data pilot area, had set up 20,215 5G base stations as of Wednesday to accelerate 5G development, local authorities said.
The province in southwest China is currently home to more than 9 million 5G users.
China’s independently-developed ARJ21 regional jetliner has entered a phase of accelerated deliveries and large scale commercial operation, according to civil aviation authorities.
As of now, a total of 41 ARJ21 airplanes have been delivered to eight domestic customers with expanded commercial operations in the market.
AI ETHICAL RULES, LAWS
Chinese political advisors discussed and offered suggestions on artificial intelligence (AI)-related ethical and legal issues at a bi-weekly seminar on Wednesday. The seminar was held by the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China’s top political advisory body.
The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) has officially released a catalogue of biological resources.
All the resource data are available to the public on network portals, the CAS said on Tuesday.
New-type Fuxing bullet trains with a speed of 250 km per hour will soon be put into use on several railway lines, according to the China State Railway Group Co., Ltd.
This marks an important step in China’s railway development, and shows that China will continue to lead the world in high-speed rail technology, according to the company. Enditem
