Suspended police officer and his wife charged with fraud /

A sus­pend­ed po­lice of­fi­cer and his wife have been charged with pos­ses­sion of forged doc­u­ments. They were each grant­ed $150,000 bail by a Port-of-Spain Mag­is­trate and are ex­pect­ed to reap­pear in court on June 21st.  Roger and Melis­sa Tra­boulay of La Hor­quet­ta, Ari­ma were charged on May 20th with the of­fences by Sgt (Ag.) David­son of the Fraud Squad. 

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, dur­ing a search at the cou­ple’s home of­fi­cers al­leged­ly found and seized a quan­ti­ty of doc­u­ments pur­port­ing to be is­sued by the Min­istry of Plan­ning and De­vel­op­ment Town and Coun­try Plan­ning Di­vi­sion for the Grant of Spir­it Re­tail­ers Li­cences and No­tices of Grant of Per­mis­sion to De­vel­op Land.
