Secret Bay’s Gregor Nassief’s Open Letter to Lennox Linton Demanding Apology - EntornoInteligente /

Owner and Developer of Secret Bay, Gregor Nassief has written an open letter to Leader of the Opposition, Hon Lennox Linton, asking him to apologise for statements made about the hotelier with regards to the use of CBI funds.

The world renowned boutique hotel is currently being expanded under the Citizenship by Investment Programme.

Nassief claims that on September 3, 2019 Hon Linton made statements which may be damaging to his reputation. He says this may be as a result of Linton’s misunderstanding of the CBI programme.

“Mr. Linton’s understanding of the program appears very limited…resulting [in] insidious and baseless inferences or innuendoes made against me as the developer of Secret Bay is unacceptable.”

Nassief gives a detailed report in which he describes the various components of the CBI programme and also explains the financial reports of the government in this regard as well as the use of funds for the hotel’s development.

While Linton  accuses him and other hoteliers as being “friends” of Prime Minister Skerrit who “profits from the sale of passports”, Nassief says the profits earned by developers under the real estate option of the programme are well-deserved.
