The Shipping Association of Jamaica (SAJ) will host a three-day project management course online from June 7 to June 9.
The 18-hour Essentials of Project Management course will be facilitated and certified by the Management Institute for National Development, and will explore the skills and competencies which are important to defining, developing and executing projects, while increasing efficiency, reducing risk and ensuring quality.
The course will cover topics such as defining projects; types and examples of projects; project life cycle; phases of project management; project monitoring; identifying project difficulties; and strategies to avoid failure.
The seminar follows the SAJ’s recent Sexual Harassment Act (2021) workshops for management and line staff, respectively, which drew over 40 participants from several companies. Another seminar for line staff is also scheduled for June 21.
For additional information on the Essentials of Project Management or Sexual Harassment Act (2021) workshops, please contact the SAJ at [email protected] .
