Boasting rich natural resources, magnificent sceneries and a variety of rare wildlife, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is a magnet for researchers, photographers and travelers from all around the world.
However, with worsening global warming, the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, known as the “third pole” of the world, is witnessing its glaciers melt.
With its fragile ecological environment, the plateau is vital to the planet’s natural system.
