No final word on plans for Class 4 return - EntornoInteligente /

Last Saturday, Minister of Education Santia Bradshaw announced that students sitting this year’s Common Entrance exam would do so on July 14, with schools set to reopen on June 15 for Class 4 students and some senior secondary students to complete their school-based assessments.

General secretary of the Barbados Union of Teachers (BUT) Herbert Gittens confirmed that a another meeting was held yesterday between Ministry of Education officials, BUT, the Barbados Secondary Teachers Union, Barbados Association of Principals of Public Secondary Schools, the Association of Public Primary School Principals and the National Union of Public Workers. 

That meeting follows on the heels of a meeting held on Monday between Ministry of Education officials and BUT heads.  (RA)
