Barbados continued from their overnight total of 239/3 and were eventually bowled out for 389 to give them a first innings lead of 180 runs.

Jonathan Carter, who was 61 runs overnight, was trapped leg before wicket for 73 runs, while Kyle Mayers, who was 36, went on to score 75 runs before he was dismissed.

The lower order batsmen for the Pride stood up well to add some valuable runs with Kemar Roach scoring 35, Jomel Warrican 24 and Keon Harding 21.

In reply, Guyana are 141 for three off 41 overs in their second innings as they trail by 39 runs.

Guyana lost both opening batsmen before the score was 20. First was Tagenarine Chanderpaul, who was lbw to Kemar Roach and then Chandrapaul Henral, who retired hurt.

But the middle order put up some resistance with partnerships from Leon Johnson and Vishaul Singh, which yielded 53 runs for the second wicket and then between Christopher Barnwell and Singh, which was a 46-run third-wicket partnership.

Johnson scored 17 runs and Barnwell 26.

Singh was unbeaten at the end of the day on 56 runs with Ramon Reifer at the other end on 17 and the score on 141/3.
