Entornointeligente.com / Prime Minister Andrew Holness on Tuesday announced adjusted weekend curfew hours as well as changes for Labour Day as the government continues its policy of pursuing COVID-19 related restrictions.
Starting this weekend, the Saturday curfew will start at 6:00 p.m., and end at five o’clock on Sunday. Another curfew will start at 2 o’clock on Sunday afternoon and end at 5:00 a.m. Monday morning.
From Monday to Friday each week the curfew hours remain 8PM to 5AM.
There will be a further change for the long Labour Day weekend, however, as the curfew, which will start at 2 o’clock on the afternoon of Sunday, May 23 will not expire until 5 o’clock on the morning of Tuesday, May 25, meaning no movement will be allowed on Monday, May 24, which willl be a public holiday.
These arrangements will expire on June 2.
