Entornointeligente.com / Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton says the 75,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine which were expected last week, will arrive in the island Thursday evening. The vaccines have been procured through the African Medical Supply Platform. Speaking on Radio Jamaica’s Beyond the Headlines on Wednesday, Dr. Tufton said the flight with the vaccine was in-transit. The country currently has less than 20,000 doses remaining from the 64,000 doses which had been received previously, with an islandwide vaccination blitz planned for this weekend.
