News day / Employees were supposed to start moving on Monday, but were unable to do so because of malfunctioning air conditioning in the building. Seecharan said the matter has since been rectified and it was expected all employees housed in various buildings in Port-of-Spain would soon be under one roof. He said he did not see any other problems that might hinder the move.
The ministrys new head office was handed over by Udecott in May.
The 16-floor building had been undergoing outfitting since last year and was now ready to be occupied.
Lights have been on in the building night and day and floors have been furnished with desks, computers and other equipment.
