Jamaica Observer / SHAGGY and British rocker Sting have released the second single from their upcoming collaborative project 44/876. The set has a release date of April 20. The track, Morning Is Coming, follows up on the debut single Don’t Make Me Wait which was released at the start of the new year.
Don’t Make Me Wait had its world premiere in Jamaica on January 6 at the biennial Shaggy and Friends fund-raising concert where Sting was a special guest. The duo has performed the track at other high-profile events such as the 2018 Grammy Awards in New York on January 28, then at the Super Bowl Championship finals at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on February 4.
The video for Don’t Make Me Wait, released in February, and was directed by Gil Green and shot at various locations across the Corporate Area including beneath the clock in Half-Way-Tree.
The album 44/876 is being released through A&M/Interscope Records.
