MiamiHerald / A trailer park on the outskirts of Coral Gables in a part of Miami-Dade that the city wishes to annex was the scene of a deadly shooting early Tuesday morning.
Shortly before 5 a.m., Miami-Dade police say, two men got into an argument at the Gables Trailer Park. It turned physical. One of the men pulled out a gun and fired. A 51-year-old man was killed.
By late morning police had not released the name of either man, or said what charges the shooter might be facing. Miami-Dade Detective and spokesman Alvaro Zabaleta said police were still trying to reach family members of the dead man.
Gables Trailer Park, at 825 SW 44th Ave., is part of a 205-acre tract that the city is in the process of annexing. The city plans to tear down the trailer park and replace it with development.
