RJR News / Yona Knight-Wisdom, U-K based Jamaican diver, is enjoying his greatest success, in qualifying for Thursday afternoon’s final of the three-metre springboard contest.
The 18 year old qualified in 7 th place, and faces 11 other competitors in the final. He amassed 393.20 points from his preliminary dives.
Knight-Wisdom had made his debut last summer for Jamaica at the World Championships in Barcelona, but failed to progress beyond the preliminary rounds.
In table tennis, Yvonne Foster and Shanique Clare delivered the country a 3-1 victory over Ghana, to reach the second round of the doubles.
