The Government's events rating system is to be implemented in March.
Cabinet approved the formation of the System which is intended to be a guide for entertainment organisers and the public regarding what should be expected at events.
State Minister for Entertainment, Damion Crawford, says with the introduction of the events rating system, organisers will have to abide by regulations.
“All events must be rated so that all parents and guardians can know
He said while there has been opposition from some quarters to the proposed events rating system, most organisers have welcomed the move.
“The stakeholders are a little tentative, however the sponsors are happy about it and those who were once unwilling to participate are now wiling ” He said.
There will be a public education campaign against the use of sexual content, violence and strong language in entertainment activities.
