Jamaica Gleaner / Hospiten Montego Bay supported the Jamaica Constabulary Force ‘IPAD 4 life’ summer camp by donating much-needed first aid and emergency kits and providing medical coverage for the 73 participants of the recently concluded activity July 9-21.
The camp, founded by Deputy Commissioner of Police Novelette Grant in 2015, is aimed at helping teenagers identify good role models, gain respect for the law, the police and their peers, while ensuring that they were equipped with problem-solving and social skills.
As sponsors, Hospiten Montego Bay donated two brand new first aid and emergency medical kits and on-spot nursing coverage. Many of the campers were also able to access much-needed medical treatment at the 24-hour medical and emergency facility as well.
