RJR News / Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett has said anti-visitor harassment measures being implemented in resort areas are having a positive effect. These include training programmes and sensitization workshops for frontline industry representatives interacting directly with visitors, as well as heightened vigilance and patrols by resort security officers. Mr. Bartlett said the positive outcomes are evidenced in the Jamaica Tourist Board visitor opinion surveys which show that 60 per cent of tourists visiting Jamaica recently were satisfied with their experience.
